These cheesy garlic breadsticks are soft, buttery, and loaded with gooey mozzarella. Perfect for a quick appetizer or pizza-night side!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade), room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Marinara sauce or garlic butter, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  2. Roll the dough into a 12×8-inch rectangle (about ¼-inch thick) and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough.
  4. In a bowl, combine mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, and dried parsley. Sprinkle the mixture over the dough and press lightly.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until edges are golden and cheese is bubbly with browned spots.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and cool for 2 minutes.
  7. Slice into 1-inch strips and serve with marinara or garlic butter.

Notes

  • Optional: sprinkle crushed red pepper for a little heat.
  • Use Italian seasoning instead of oregano for a slightly different flavor.
