Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking apart. Drain excess grease.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
Transfer beef to a bowl; mix in cheddar, mozzarella, and parsley until combined.
Unroll crescent dough into one large sheet; press seams to seal.
Spread beef-cheese mixture evenly over dough, leaving a small border.
Roll tightly from a long side; pinch seam to seal and tuck ends.
Place seam-side down on baking sheet; brush with beaten egg.
Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Rest 5 minutes, slice into thick rounds, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
Chill assembled roll 10–15 minutes before baking for cleaner slices.
Sprinkle extra cheese on top before baking for more color.
Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days or freeze sliced pieces up to 1 month.
Variations: Swap in ground turkey or sausage; add finely chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach.
