Cream Cheese Drizzle: 4 oz cream cheese (softened), 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s guidance.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Prepare cinnamon swirl by blending melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Transfer to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a corner snipped.
Lightly grease waffle iron. Pour ~1/2 cup batter into center, then pipe cinnamon swirl in a spiral. Close and cook until golden, ~3–4 min per waffle. Repeat for remaining batter.
Make cream cheese drizzle: beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until pourable.
Serve waffles warm with cream cheese drizzle.
Notes
Ensure waffle iron is properly greased to prevent sticking.
