Cottage Cheese Chips are a high-protein, crunchy snack that can be baked or microwaved. Perfect for a quick, healthy, and savory treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (256g) whole milk small-curd cottage cheese (4% milkfat, high protein)
  • Seasonings of your choice (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Oven Method: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper; spray lightly.
  2. If desired, drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese.
  3. Use a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop to place mounds of cottage cheese on the sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  4. Flatten each mound to about 1/4 inch thick using the back of a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle seasonings or Parmesan on top, if desired.
  6. Bake for 40–50 minutes, checking at 20 minutes. Edges should be dark brown and surface golden.
  7. Cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
  8. Microwave Method: Line a microwave-safe plate with parchment paper.
  9. Spread an even layer of cottage cheese on the plate, season if desired.
  10. Microwave 2–3 minutes, checking and repeating until golden and slightly crispy.
  11. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Optional toppings: smoked paprika, garlic powder, or herbs for extra flavor.
  • Microwave method is faster but may be slightly less crispy than oven-baked.
