A creamy and satisfying twist on traditional pizza, combining cottage cheese, zesty marinara, fresh veggies, and mozzarella cheese for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach or kale
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced olives, diced onions, fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread cottage cheese evenly across the bottom of a medium baking dish.
  3. Spoon marinara sauce generously over the cottage cheese layer.
  4. Scatter chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, and spinach over the sauce.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and any additional toppings.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.

Notes
