An indulgent dessert featuring a creamy white chocolate mousse filling atop a buttery crust, perfect for any special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups (150g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (113g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1–2 tablespoons cold water
  • 8 ounces (225g) high-quality white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream, chilled
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Add cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in egg yolk and water until dough forms.
  5. Press dough into a tart pan and pierce bottom with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden. Cool.
  7. Melt white chocolate over simmering water or microwave.
  8. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks, then fold in melted white chocolate and vanilla.
  9. If using, dissolve gelatin in milk and stir into mousse.
  10. Pour mousse into cooled tart crust and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  11. Top with berries, white chocolate curls, and powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate for best flavor.
  • Gelatin is optional but gives extra stability.
  • Serve chilled for optimal texture.
