  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 oz deli roast beef
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can beef consommé (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  2. Lay tortillas flat and layer with provolone, roast beef, and fried onions.
  3. Roll tightly and seal edges with a light brush of olive oil.
  4. Place seam-side down on baking sheet and brush tops with oil.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, combine consommé, water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan.
  7. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until hot.
  8. Let roll ups rest 2 minutes, then slice and serve with warm au jus.

Notes

  • Use fresh deli-sliced roast beef for best flavor.
  • Add mozzarella or Swiss cheese for variation.
  • Do not overfill tortillas to prevent tearing.
  • Best served immediately while crispy.
