Juicy chicken and crisp broccoli tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. Quick, healthy, and perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, sauté 5–6 minutes until golden. Remove chicken.
  2. In the same skillet, add 1/4 cup water and broccoli. Cover and steam 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender. Discard excess water.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Melt butter, stir in garlic, cook 30 seconds until aromatic.
  4. Add soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, toss with garlic butter sauce for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Fold in steamed broccoli until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley if desired. Serve warm with rice, pasta, or cauliflower rice.
