Greek Chicken Tenders marinated in Greek yogurt, lemon, garlic, and oregano for tender, flavorful chicken perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders (or sliced chicken breast)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken tenders, coat evenly, cover, and refrigerate 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill pan over medium heat or oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove chicken from marinade, discard excess.
  4. Grill 5–7 minutes per side until fully cooked, or bake 20–25 minutes on parchment-lined tray.
  5. Allow chicken to rest briefly before serving. Garnish with parsley or dill if desired.

Notes

  • Marinate longer for deeper flavor.
  • Serve with a Greek salad or tzatziki sauce for a full meal.
