High-Protein Honey Garlic Butter Chicken with Mac & Cheese is a creamy and comforting meal, combining tender chicken in a honey garlic butter sauce with cheesy macaroni for a protein-packed dish perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk (or more for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp mustard powder (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
  3. Add garlic to the skillet, sauté 1 minute. Stir in honey and remaining butter, coat chicken in the sauce.
  4. In a saucepan, combine milk and cheddar cheese over medium heat. Stir until smooth. Add mustard powder if using. Season with salt and pepper. Mix in cooked macaroni.
  5. Plate chicken over mac & cheese. Garnish with fresh parsley.
