Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast or thighs, diced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Broccoli florets (optional)
  • Brown sugar (optional, for richer sauce)
  • Bell peppers (optional, for color)

Instructions

  1. Combine diced chicken, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch in a separate bowl to create a thick sauce.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and cook marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic, add sauce mixture, and simmer until thickened. Return chicken to the pan and coat in sauce.
  5. Serve over steamed rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
