Ingredients
12 Hawaiian rolls
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano or basil, optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
Spread softened butter on cut sides of both top and bottom halves.
Optional: Sprinkle garlic powder and herbs over the buttered rolls.
Evenly layer shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the bottom half.
Place the top half of the rolls back onto the cheesy bottom half.
Tightly wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil to prevent drying.
Bake in preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until cheese melts completely.
Unwrap and return to oven for 5 more minutes for a golden crust.
Slice into smaller portions and serve warm.
