One-Pan Cheeseburger Pie Dinner is a hearty, comforting baked dish made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and a fluffy egg custard baked over a biscuit or pie crust base for a classic burger-inspired flavor in casserole form.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups biscuit or pie dough
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • Optional toppings: pickles, mustard, ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook beef: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Drain fat.
  3. Season: Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add tomatoes: Stir in diced tomatoes and cook 2–3 minutes.
  5. Mix egg base: Whisk eggs and milk together in a bowl.
  6. Form crust: Press dough into a greased oven-safe skillet.
  7. Add layers: Add half cheese, beef mixture, remaining cheese.
  8. Pour egg mixture: Evenly pour over filling.
  9. Bake: Bake 30 minutes until set and golden.
  10. Cool & serve: Let rest before slicing and serving.
