Ingredients
Smashburger Patties
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 slices American cheese
Big Mac Sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet pickle relish
2 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp white vinegar
1¼ tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
⅛ tsp white pepper (optional)
Assembly
4 medium flour tortillas
½ cup shredded iceberg lettuce
¼ cup finely diced white onion
Dill pickle slices
Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Make Big Mac sauce: whisk together mayo, pickle relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Refrigerate 20 min.
Heat skillet; warm tortillas 1–2 min per side until lightly charred. Set aside.
Divide beef into 4 equal balls. Heat cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
Place beef ball on skillet, press down to ¼ inch thick. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 2 min, flip, top with cheese, cook 1–2 min until edges crispy and cheese melted.
Assemble tacos: spread Big Mac sauce on tortillas, add lettuce, onion, pickle slices, and cheesy patty. Fold like a taco.
Serve warm with extra Big Mac sauce.
Notes
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking while smashing patties.
Adjust seasoning and sauce to taste.
Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish.
