Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess fat.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add rice, beef broth, and heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until creamy.
  5. Spread rice mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Layer cooked beef on top of rice.
  7. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and melted.
  9. Broil 2–3 minutes for a golden top if desired.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
  • Let it rest 5 minutes before serving for cleaner scoops.
  • Add chili flakes if you want extra heat.
