Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup mustard-cheddar sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Set up three bowls: flour, egg mixed with Dijon mustard, and crushed pretzels.
  4. Coat chicken in flour, then egg mixture, then press into pretzels.
  5. Place on baking sheet and bake 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. To make sauce, heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  8. Mix in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  9. Serve chicken hot topped with mustard-cheddar sauce.
